The Elementary POS cash register system gives you a choice between different payment methods: cash or card. If your customers have a preference, you can be flexible.
In the basic settings of the application, you will only have the option of paying by cash or card. If you wish to be offered more options automatically with each payment, you can activate them in the mobile application:
Main Menu ➝ Settings ➝ Customization and Appearance ➝ Receipt Buttons ➝ Show More Payment Methods
Card payment
Elementary POS supports the following payment terminals:
SumUp, MyPos, SMART N5, Carbon, F20, Sunmi.
Even if you don’t have a payment terminal, you can filter payments that were made by card in the sales reports.
Payment in cash
If your business accepts cash, a cash drawer will come in handy. Of course, just like other external devices, you can easily connect it to the cash register system and to the printer.
Bank and Crypto buttons
You can use the Bank or Crypto buttons to mark a payment that was made via bank transfer or with crypto currency and filter them later in your cash journal or sales report. That way, you’ll know that you shouldn’t be looking for that money in your cash drawer.
