We are excited to showcase yet another enhancement of our Elementary POS app – the external barcode scanner. Our aim is to continually improve our app’s functionality to make it more user-friendly and efficient for our customers.
With this new feature, we have made it easier for you to edit sales items and manage your inventory.
So, how does it work?
When you access the Sales item settings and Items section of the Elementary POS Back Office, you’ll notice a barcode icon located next to the search field. To use the new feature, all you need to do is launch your mobile phone’s barcode scanner in our POS system app. Once you scan a code, it will automatically appear in the place of the barcode icon.
This feature simplifies the process of managing sales items and stock. If you want to restock a particular sales item, all you need to do is scan its barcode and it will automatically be displayed for you. This eliminates the need for manual searching and entry of data, saving you time and effort.
Overall, the external barcode scanner feature is an excellent addition that enhances the functionality of our app. By making it easier and quicker to manage inventory and sales items, we hope to help you, our customers, save time and grow your businesses.
